These terms apply to workcassia.com, run by WorkCassia in George Town, Tasmania. Contact WorkCassia at careers@workcassia.com. Using workcassia.com or applying through it means you agree to these terms; if you disagree, please stop using workcassia.com.
In these terms, "WorkCassia", "we" and "us" refer to the operator; "you" is any visitor; the "website" is workcassia.com; an "employer" is the business that offers a role; and a "listing" is that role's description on workcassia.com.
WorkCassia is a recruitment advertising and introduction service, not an employer. For any role on WorkCassia, the employer decides hiring, contracts, supervision, how the work is organised and pay. An application to WorkCassia is not a job offer and does not make you an employee of WorkCassia.
Each listing on workcassia.com describes duties, working arrangements, engagement type, eligibility and conditions; read it all before applying. Roles may close or change, and WorkCassia updates or removes listings once told. Report mistakes to careers@workcassia.com, mentioning the role.
Please give WorkCassia correct details, and never submit an application for somebody else without their clear agreement. You must satisfy the role's eligibility and Australian right-to-work conditions before WorkCassia can introduce you. Complete the form, then send WorkCassia HR the WhatsApp message, which only goes once you press Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@workcassia.com. An employer found through WorkCassia can request more detail or an interview before deciding.
WorkCassia does not charge applicants at any point: there is no application, placement, admin or training charge and no deposit. WorkCassia is paid by the businesses that advertise. Nobody from WorkCassia will ask you to purchase crypto, add credit to an account, pay to access work or send money to receive wages. Please report any such request involving a WorkCassia role to careers@workcassia.com.
Employers set pay for roles on WorkCassia, and a range, if shown, is not a promise of the top figure. Before starting a role found on WorkCassia, get written confirmation from the employer of its legal name, your duties, engagement type, pay rate or method, expected hours and payment timing. WorkCassia gives no guarantee of work, minimum hours or earnings.
WorkCassia stands behind its own website content and ads, while employers answer for the information they give WorkCassia and their obligations as employers. Where an ad and workcassia.com conflict on a material point, WorkCassia investigates and fixes the incorrect one. A broad disclaimer on the WorkCassia site never cancels a specific statement or your rights under law.
The WorkCassia Privacy Policy explains how applications are handled. Records held by WhatsApp or an employer are governed by those parties' policies, not by this WorkCassia policy.
You must not impersonate anyone, submit false applications, use another person's details without permission, share harmful material or interfere with workcassia.com.
Pages on workcassia.com may be viewed and kept for personal job-seeking. Please ask WorkCassia before using its content in any other way. Images used by WorkCassia are licensed stock photos, not pictures of actual applicants or employers.
Links and buttons on workcassia.com open third-party apps such as WhatsApp and email, which WorkCassia does not control.
WorkCassia does not promise uninterrupted access to workcassia.com or that a listing will remain open during your application, and may alter or suspend the site without warning.
Nothing in the WorkCassia terms removes, limits or alters a right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any law that cannot be excluded.
Apart from those non-excludable rights, WorkCassia is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss connected with workcassia.com. This does not reduce WorkCassia's liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Typos and technical errors can happen, and WorkCassia corrects them once aware.
If you breach these terms, for instance by applying with another person's details without consent, you are responsible for resulting loss that is reasonably foreseeable, unless WorkCassia caused it.
WorkCassia is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as hosting or messaging outages.
To apply through WorkCassia you should be an adult based in Australia with work rights. Individual employers can add requirements, which WorkCassia shows in the listing or HR explains on WhatsApp. Where an application plainly does not meet the stated requirements, WorkCassia may not forward it, and you can ask WorkCassia for the reason.
Some roles include a short online training provided by the employer or arranged through WorkCassia. WorkCassia offers the training to help you understand the work, and applicants are never charged for it. Even after the WorkCassia training, an offer is up to the employer, who also stays responsible for how the work is carried out.
Yes, you may link to the home page of workcassia.com as long as the link does not suggest WorkCassia endorses you or your site. WorkCassia is not responsible for other websites that link to workcassia.com, or for sites you reach from a link on workcassia.com. If you find a link that misrepresents WorkCassia or its roles, please let WorkCassia know at careers@workcassia.com so it can be followed up.
WorkCassia requires employers to list roles truthfully, comply with Australian employment law, provide written terms before work starts and never request payment from applicants. Listings or employers that fall short can be removed by WorkCassia; send any concern to careers@workcassia.com.
If a court finds part of the WorkCassia terms invalid, that part drops out and the rest still applies. A delay by WorkCassia in enforcing a term is not a waiver.
These terms, together with the WorkCassia Privacy Policy and Compliance Statement, are the entire agreement about your use of workcassia.com.
WorkCassia will send notices to the WhatsApp number or email you applied with. Send notices to WorkCassia at careers@workcassia.com.
These terms are governed by the law of Tasmania, without affecting any mandatory protections you have.
Email careers@workcassia.com and mention the role. When WorkCassia updates these terms, the new version appears here with a fresh date and earlier dealings keep their existing rights.
