This policy covers workcassia.com, which is operated by WorkCassia in George Town, Tasmania. WorkCassia lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not WorkCassia, is the employer. You can write to WorkCassia at careers@workcassia.com. WorkCassia follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you apply, WorkCassia receives the details you enter: your name, mobile number, email address, the role you are interested in and any optional note. When you message WorkCassia HR on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and the text of your message. Emails to WorkCassia give us your address and whatever the email says.
Yes, workcassia.com receives standard technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the previous page and the time. The WorkCassia hosting provider keeps these to operate and protect workcassia.com, and WorkCassia does not link them to applications.
If a required field is empty, WorkCassia may not be able to contact you or pass your application to the employer. You can skip any optional field on the WorkCassia form.
Do not share passwords, SMS verification codes, card or bank account numbers, tax file numbers or images of ID with WorkCassia. WorkCassia has no use for them, will not request them and removes them if they are sent anyway.
WorkCassia uses your details to respond to you, share role information, forward your application to the relevant employer, answer your questions, keep a record of what was discussed, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal obligations.
No, not at WorkCassia. WorkCassia never sells or rents personal information, and applying does not add you to any marketing list. If a different employer might suit you better, WorkCassia will ask first and share nothing for that purpose unless you agree.
The WorkCassia HR team, and the employer offering the role you chose. Before WorkCassia introduces you, we tell you which employer it is and which details they will receive.
workcassia.com is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails addressed to WorkCassia. WorkCassia loads its lettering from Google Fonts, which means your device contacts Google for those files. Messages with WorkCassia HR travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. Each of these providers applies its own policy, separate from WorkCassia's. WorkCassia will list any new provider here, for example a form builder or ad tag, before switching it on.
WorkCassia discloses information to authorities only when legally required, or when legally permitted and reasonably needed to look into misuse or protect the rights of a person.
After the form, you complete your application by sending WorkCassia HR one WhatsApp message. The button opens WhatsApp with a message already written and addressed to the WorkCassia HR number, which you will see at the top of the chat. Nothing is sent to WorkCassia automatically; you read the message and tap Send. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@workcassia.com and WorkCassia will help another way.
WorkCassia does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. The WorkCassia hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and workcassia.com will still work.
At the date shown, workcassia.com runs no ad tags, remarketing lists or analytics. Before WorkCassia adds any, this section will be updated to name the provider, describe what it receives and explain your options. WorkCassia never puts names, phone numbers or email addresses into tracking data or URLs.
Sometimes it does at WorkCassia. The services WorkCassia relies on, namely Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, run in several countries, the United States among them. WorkCassia follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@workcassia.com for details.
WorkCassia keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and WorkCassia will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. Technical logs for the WorkCassia site generally drop off after about 30 days.
Traffic to workcassia.com is encrypted with HTTPS and application details are limited to the WorkCassia staff who process them. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, WorkCassia will tell you as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside WorkCassia's control. WorkCassia can point you to the right place to ask them.
You may ask WorkCassia at careers@workcassia.com for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of your application. WorkCassia may need to confirm who you are, will try to respond within 30 days and will give reasons if a request is refused. Once WorkCassia has passed your details to an employer, that step cannot be taken back.
Send WorkCassia the new details and we will correct your record.
WorkCassia does not use automated decision-making. Real people at WorkCassia read every application, while the employer makes the hiring decision.
workcassia.com is for adults looking for work. If WorkCassia finds a child's information, it is deleted.
Email careers@workcassia.com and describe what happened. WorkCassia will investigate and reply in writing. If you are unhappy with the outcome, reply and someone at WorkCassia who was not involved will review it from the start.
WorkCassia asks for your preferred role so the right details and training reach you and the application goes to the matching employer. Not sure yet? Mention it when you message WorkCassia HR and they will talk you through each role first. Until an introduction has happened, you can switch roles by sending a WhatsApp message or writing to careers@workcassia.com.
WorkCassia keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Your messages are seen only by the people at WorkCassia who look after applications. You can ask WorkCassia to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. WorkCassia never forwards your chat to marketing companies.
You can change your mind about WorkCassia at any time. Tell WorkCassia HR on WhatsApp or write to careers@workcassia.com, and WorkCassia will end contact about roles, make no new introductions and remove your information as described under retention, except anything WorkCassia is legally obliged to keep.
WorkCassia relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, WorkCassia will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@workcassia.com.
WorkCassia may revise this policy and will show the new date above. Where required by law, WorkCassia will notify you before a change affects information it already has.
